End of Life Models Information & Promotion

Maintenance life cycle for end of life mode
 
Elfiq Networks wishes to notify you that your organization has resold one or more Link Balancer products which are nearing their end of their regular maintenance life cycle of 5 years after the end of sale announcement.  Here is the list of affected models:
  • LB-500 (end of life date is June 1st 2008) 
  • LB-1000 (end of life date is June 1st 2008)  
  • LB-2000 (end of life date is November 1st 2008)
  • LB-3000 (end of life date is July 1st 2010) 
What does this mean?
  • Elfiq will continue to support your customers' unit(s) and renew maintenance plans as long as they are covered by an active maintenance plan
  • In case of hardware failure, Elfiq reserves the right to replace a model with an equivalent unit in case similar hardware is no longer available  
  • Firmware updates and fixes will no longer be available after the above date for each model
  • After year 3 of the life cycle, only firmware fixes will be available.  Firmware evolution and  no new features will be added such as the Elfiq App Optimizer
