Securematics RMA Policy
By requesting a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
All RMA requests must be made via this website (scroll down to see form). It is imperative that the information sent to Securematics be accurate and complete. Inaccurate, invalid, or incomplete invoice numbers or serial numbers will result in an RMA request being denied.
Submission of an RMA request does not constitute approval of the request nor imply that an RMA number will be issued.
All requests for product returns (RMA) must be made within 30 days of the original invoice date.
Products returned to Securematics for RMA processing must be received within 10 days of the date a valid RMA number is issued.
A valid RMA number must accompany all RMA products shipped to Securematics. There are no exceptions to this policy. Products received without a valid RMA number will be returned to the shipper and no RMA request will be processed.
Products returned under a valid RMA number must be in their original and factory-sealed packaging. Products returned and claimed to be in factory-sealed condition but found to have been opened will be returned to the shipper and the RMA request cancelled.
All RMA requests which fall outside the above terms and conditions (i.e. open box returns, invoice dates older than 30 days, etc) require prior written approval from the vendor / manufacturer. This process may take up to 90 days. Securematics makes no claims that requests for such non-standard RMA authorizations will be approved. No RMA number will be issued by Securematics until a valid authorization has been received by Securematics by the vendor / manufacturer.
Securematics facilitates the RMA policies of each individual manufacturer / vendor. These policies are subject to change at the sole discretion of each individual manufacturer / vendor.
